Jason Lynch is a longtime Spartanburg County resident who serves as General Counsel for OTO Development, a nationally recognized hospitality company. He brings a strong background in law, finance, and business leadership to the race for County Council.

A graduate of Wofford College, Lynch earned his law degree from the University of South Carolina and went on to receive a Master of Laws in Taxation from NYU. He has served on numerous local boards, including the Chapman Cultural Center, Charles Lea Center Foundation, and Pine Street School Foundation, and currently serves on the USC Upstate Capital Development Foundation.

Lynch and his wife Griffin, also a lawyer and a District 7 School Board member, are raising their three children—Wallace, Harriet, and John—in Spartanburg, where they attend public schools. The Lynch family are active members of First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg, where Jason previously served as an elder.
